im bit confused.. if i load up my archer on all abilities that uses ATK stat for damage, do i still need both atk and matk?
like can you specialise in focusing ATK or MATK like lancers and mages?

(not having much luck getting healing gear for my cleric, thinking about switching over to archer. since i got UR able x2 HoPoison, x1 HoDeadeye, x1 Fatal Testament and Joan)

If you're only using one stat you may as well be a lancer/mage haha.

While I won't say it's impossible, the fact is your skills will only do good damage for half the hits, and that's only if they don't miss too.

Overall, I would advise against it.

[PS: omfg you have Joan?]

Anyone with general knowledge on games would think this as well, but it takes unison league knowledge to figure out why that's a bad idea. Multi hits are op. Extremely op for dps. Each time a weapon pros it adds a to the move, but this value is not a lower value for multi hits, adding the boost multiple times

yeah i think 2-3 time i got joan. i rerolled a good week or so. and i keep getting fire monster Joan ><" from beginner draw, but im a healer, so shes just sitting in the locker..
having said that, i might start bring her into quests since i dont really have any other good ultility monsters..

only UR ables i have is Arthur, Jabberwock (dropped in last event) and Joan.
(im using Arthur max, Dragon leviathan as stat stick, and Lorelai for some AOE dispell as back up, and goblin for haste ><"

Quick question, what if you want to be a good upfront yet support archer for GB? Or remodeling for lack of power -atk, and mak- to use during colosseum or special events? I do love the guide you made for the Archer class, although I feel like my brain is slowly melting over these statistics. But in a Good way X'D

Okay so two guild battles later::

I'm running a 50/50/35/35 FL archer with WTB, Lethal IS and ee.

World tree's is trash unless certain scenarios -- Other obvious options seem to be guard and HB - will update later

Thank you really! I'll make my build around that except with hunt instead of WTB

I heavily suggest either guard or hb instead of hunt, as in higher tier gvg you can get targetted and rekt because people assume you're cb and an easy target.

So I've been fighting with myself about which skills to keep as far as armors and helms

Right now, I'm building a set of bows (Shooting for three deadeye, two fatal, and then keeping my one heart of the phantom because I do some pretty decent damage with IS)

I currently have these helms:
- UR Arc Helm with Physical Damage Down XL
- UR Anemol's Headdress with Physical Relfection XL
- SSR Metus Drake Helm with Physical Damage Down L

And these armors:
- UR Cherufe Suit with Magic Damage Down XL
- UR Brosno Armor with Physical Damage Down XL
- UR Attire of Qitian with HP UP XL (Going to be getting rid of this because I've been told the HP UP skills aren't that great)

Those are my equipped ones. I also have:

UR Sakura Helm with HP UP (Probably going to transmute)
UR-able Garb of Guidance with Physical Reflection L
UR Overcoat of Trobados with Physical Armor Up XL
UR-able Divine Knight Culrass with Physical Armor Up L

I heard the physical/magical ups/downs were the best ones to have. The only Testament I have is Fatal.
Do the armor-ups stack on each other? Do I have too much Physical Damage down to make any difference? Does my bow build sound like a good idea? Since Fatals don't stack, I figured two would suffice to make it activate more. I'm really struggling with what to do with the gear I have because I've gotten a ton of armors @_@; Any help would be appreciated.
I also plan on subclassing Cleric due to having 4 SSR-UR heart of health books, one of which came with an Ability so which of these armors are good for that class?

It looks like you've got a loooot of physical defense and a lacking magic defense, as far as procs go. You get what you get, when it comes to spawns, so just be on the lookout and pick something up when you can.

It's important to have constant effect defense skill on your gear. They're the only gear skills that can reduce unison damage taken, and they're always active on every attack, so you're not relying on random number generator. You can have two active at a time, so i'd UR that cuirass until you can find a Magic Armor XL to balance it. Or if your gear ends up very cloth-heavy, you might just leave your MDEF very high and use the two Phys Armor XL pieces to compensate for a lower DEF.

"HP Up" gear gives a flat amount, up to 4000 per piece. So later in the game when you've got 60k hp, that's going to be less than a 7% increase. Plus the bonus hp isn't multiplied for pvp events. Your base gets multiplied, and then the gear gets added on, so it's even less effective relative to your max. I think these pieces are nicer for low level players (4k at level 30 mage would be much more significant) but not good endgame.

For non-constant skills on gear, i think reflect is preferred because it helps kill faster. Damage down gives greater reduction though, and is still quite nice. When the game is processing gear skills only two can activate at a time, so while more of the same can increase the chances you get two procs, you can never get more than two skills to process on the same attack. Having magic defense/procs is going to be more important, since a lot of aoe damage is magical. Even if there's a soldier to pull aggro, you'll still take splash damage

HotMessExpress Yeah it's terrible, the spawns haven't been giving me skills for MDEF at all :'D Which isn't too big a deal honestly, considering I have almost 31k MDEF right now and only 27K DEF.

This was very helpful, thank you! <3 I think what I'll end up doing is adding both of my Physical Armor Up items to my set (At least until I get a Magical as you said). I'll probably replace the Drake Helm with another SSR that gives me Magic Testament since I have no other UR helms and then more than likely I'll just transmute my Brosno armor. I think one physical damage down and two physical armor ups should be plenty enough on my DEF.
I actually found a Magic Reflection XL in my gear locker I forgot I had so I may use that instead.

I'm probably gonna go this way--
Two Physical Armor up XL (armor and cloth)
One Physical Damage Down XL (helm)
One Magic Damage Down XL (cloth)
One Physical Reflection XL (hat)
One Magic Reflection XL (armor)
and One Magic Testament L (hat)

Pretty good variety I think--let's just hope it really works haha. I made the mistake in the beginning of dumping too much cost into my helms and now I have to be patient in pulling it all back out

I recently spawned a constant damage up bow and I didn't see that addressed in the main post. The only test I saw determined it was really bad for single hits. Have any archers tested this with our multi-hit abilities to see if it is consistently bad? Should I just infuse it into another bow I have? I briefly tried to test it in labyrinth, but my cpu's tear through the first wave.

Thank you for the input. I have the collo gun already, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I actually enjoyed the cost recovery before I started using EE, but maybe I don't need it anymore.

Sadly enough the cost recovery takes up and important proc slot and while it is a good gun to start with maybe, at end game cb it's not very useful

Can someone tell me whether or not the Loyal Rabbit's horn with Avsaris is worth going for? I just sort of have a feeling it's worthless, considering the ability sounds like a charged attack and its only 25 cost.

It depends on how many bows you have. If you do not have all six, by all means go for it. However, if you have all 6 (soon to be 7) Good bows, there's no reason to get it.

Spinning Snipe on the other hand is great.

Mosaic I do have a full 6 bows already, though one of them is an SR-UR so its only 24 cost. I infused it earlier because the infusion was free, so the stats are about the same as my other bows now. Also have the Colo gun which I want to wait to infuse cause the only 27 cost bow I have right now is a Phantom and I'd rather do a Fatal or a Deadeye. It's a decent setup for now until I get some stronger bows, I think
I may go ahead and pass on it. The stats were about the same as one of my other 25 cost bows anyway. Thank you!

If all your skills are damage procs, then don't get it. It is uninfuseable and there's not benefit in getting it. I regret using my resources in buying/augmenting/reforging it since I have not used it once.

It's just I'm not looking forward to another writeup either xD

I need two weeks to test skills, get a good handle on it, and see how they interact in gvg as well as reconsider the possibility of a FL archer. I also need advice on how it scales in mid tier gvg, if any of those people get it at all, because with the cost of the proficiency rings it currently seems only top tier guilds with veteran players will be able to immediately achieve the skills to test.

Expect a repost of this, updated with a new kind of build that is now realistic (Gasp FL archer) due to the new 5th ring.

Redoing because simply not enough room to do the additions.

However give it a month because certain abilities (Cough Deadly Arabesque Cough) are absolutely too good, so I'm expecting some sort of nerf on them and want to wait for that. Also I need to get a feel for how the abilities function and change the roles of Archer as a whole in GvG. If you have immediate questions feel free to PM me though.

Seems like Archer's party Status Resistance debuff, Diminish, is more broken than it looks.

You know how when you try to "Uni Dodge" an attack that has a debuff, like Physoth's Piercing Light (-30% ATK), the debuff still gets applied to you? Well, with Diminish, even if you try to Uni Dodge it at Round 3 of Colosseum, you still get the Status Resistance debuff (assuming it works the same way). This means that if there's 2 Archers on one side, and both use Diminish at Round 3, that renders Andromeda useless since it cancels her Status Resistance buff out, making Uni Block even easier to apply.

(Sure, you may have already known this already, but it's something worth keeping in mind for next Colo event)

As in your attacks will miss more? Can someone confirm this or please tell me its bogus lmao cause Im hearing this from someone who's 200k and I just don't believe it

I'm not an archer main but I like Reflection. I also use 2 (M)DEF constants. The only way I'd see myself using Damage Down would be if it was for both atk and matk. Is there such a thing?

Currently using 4xReflection, 4x phys/mag reflect, 2x constant def/mdef (Depending on class). I like even numbers so my next armour will probably be a Damage Down... Or Reflection
